Our body Stands on Anklebones; so they should be Aligned at the Same Height

Our Mission
At AA orthotics, we are dedicated to educate people how our foot structure and its mechanics are engineered to handle its weight-bearing function. Every step begins where your body meets the ground. Discover how the alignment of two small bones may influence the mechanics of your entire body. Every bone and joint that handles weight should be aligned to handle the weight efficiently with comfort.
Have You Ever Thought About What Supports Your Body?
Most people say, “My feet.”
They’re right—but there’s more to the story.
Each leg stands on a single anklebone (talus). Surprisingly. the size on top fo the anklebone is about 1 square inch. On that small space, not just This small bone transfers the forces from your body into your foot with every step you take.
That means the weight of your entire body—and the additional forces created during walking, running, and jumping—must pass through a very small area at the top of each anklebone before the force is distributed through the foot.
Yet with every step, that small area may experience forces far greater than your body weight. During activities such as running or jumping, the forces can multiply several times beyond body weight.
When such large forces are concentrated on such a small area, even tiny differences in alignment can become biomechanically significant.
That is why AA Orthotics is dedicated to understanding Anklebone Alignment with exceptional precision.
Why Alignment Matters: Modern engineering teaches us that machines perform best when their supporting structures are properly aligned.
The human body is also a weight-bearing mechanical system—but unlike manufactured machines, it is built from living bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons. Every step begins where the body meets the ground.
If the body’s foundation is not properly aligned, the joints above it must adapt to maintain balance and movement. Understanding that foundation is the purpose of AA Orthotics.
